CatCam ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our CatCam mobile application (the "App").

1. Information We Collect

Camera Access: The App requires access to your device's camera to take photos. Photos are processed locally on your device. We do not transmit, upload, or store your photos on any external server.

Photo Library Access: With your permission, the App can save photos to your device's photo library. This access is used solely for saving your Polaroid photos.

Locally Stored Data: Album data, photo notes, and app preferences are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device.

Purchase Information: Subscription and purchase data is processed by Apple's App Store and RevenueCat, our subscription management partner. We do not have access to your payment information (credit card numbers, billing address, etc.).

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
We do not collect location data
We do not upload or transmit your photos to any server
We do not track your browsing activity
We do not sell, trade, or share any user data with third parties
We do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

RevenueCat: For managing in-app subscriptions and purchases. RevenueCat may collect anonymous identifiers to manage your subscription status. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
Apple App Store: For processing payments. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Storage and Security

All your photos, albums, notes, and preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not operate any servers or cloud storage. Your data is protected by your device's built-in security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID).

If you delete the App, all locally stored data (albums, notes, preferences) will be permanently deleted. Photos saved to your device's photo library will remain in your photo library.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

6. Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over your data at all times. You can:

Delete any album or photo within the App
Revoke camera or photo library permissions through your device's Settings
Delete the App to remove all locally stored data

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App. Changes are effective immediately upon posting.
