Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Digital Scale ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Digital Scale is a mobile application that uses artificial intelligence to estimate the weight of objects from photographs. The App provides:

• AI-powered weight estimation from photos
• Multiple weight unit options (grams, kilograms, ounces, pounds)
• Free limited scans and premium subscription options

Important Disclaimers

Estimation Accuracy

THE WEIGHT VALUES PROVIDED BY THIS APP ARE ESTIMATES ONLY. The App uses artificial intelligence to analyze images and provide approximate weight estimates. These estimates:

• Are NOT guaranteed to be accurate
• Should NOT be used for commercial, legal, medical, or any purpose requiring precise measurements
• May vary based on image quality, lighting, object positioning, and other factors
• Are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only

No Liability for Estimates

We expressly disclaim all liability for any decisions, actions, or consequences resulting from reliance on weight estimates provided by the App. You acknowledge and agree that:

• Weight estimates are approximations and may be significantly inaccurate
• You will not use estimates for any purpose requiring accurate measurements
• We are not responsible for any loss, damage, or harm resulting from use of estimates

Subscription Terms

Premium Subscription

• Premium subscriptions provide unlimited scans and priority processing
• Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account
• Payment is charged upon confirmation of purchase

Auto-Renewal

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings

Cancellation

• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods
• You retain access to premium features until the end of the paid period

User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Circumvent any access restrictions or usage limits
• Use the App to harm, harass, or defraud others
• Submit false, misleading, or inappropriate content
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Intellectual Property

• The App, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by RL Apps and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws
• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND
• WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT
• WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
• OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RL Apps and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective upon posting. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which RL Apps operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
